Our Chapter History
National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) added its second Pennsylvania chapter on September 12, 2014 when the Central Bucks Chapter formed. Central Bucks is the 195th chapter of NCL, Inc. in the US. Beth Antimarino, founding president of NCL, Inc., Central Bucks, rallied a local team of engaged and dedicated women to help bring to life the outstanding encounters that she shared with her own daughter prior to moving to the Central Bucks area.
“My daughter and I shared the most amazing experience as part of NCL when we were living in Texas. I was determined to bring the benefit of my experience to my new home in Pennsylvania and to share the same philanthropic intent and mother-daughter bonding with the women and girls in the Central Bucks area.”
One of the hallmarks of the organization’s strategy is to keep peer age groups small to ensure robust learning and leadership opportunities for all of the members. The chapter originally supported six local charities, with the goal of expanding over time as the membership increases and additional local charity needs have been identified.
To be eligible for membership in the NCL, Inc., Central Bucks chapter, daughters must currently be in 7th to 12th grade and mothers must be prepared to volunteer side-by-side with their daughter. The NCL, Inc., Central Bucks geographical boundaries include mothers and daughters who reside in Doylestown and the surrounding areas.
