Leadership Development

Our chapter seeks to maximize a member and her daughter’s potential to be confident role models by embracing “who you are”, which empowers their personal sense of purpose and allows them to be advocates for others.

The leadership development opportunities afforded to members through their experience provide foundational skills such as:

  • Meeting Skills
  • Leadership/Character Building
  • Communication
  • Confidence
  • Life Skills/ Independent Living

Members have opportunities to engage in experiences that build essential skills, such as;  meeting facilitation, understanding parliamentary procedures, budget building, team building, developing confidence, conflict resolution, internet/texting safety, public speaking, networking skills, skincare/ fitness & nutrition & stress management.

The Ticktocker experience is designed to be a small group leadership program that provides opportunities for each developing young woman to know the joy of helping others, to learn tolerance and kindness, to mature and build confidence and to make friends while sharing and participating in these activities in a safe and comfortable age appropriate environment.
